Peak oil expert to speak at Cary Hall 23-04-2010 6:19 pm
 

Richard Heinberg, senior fellow in residence at the Post-Carbon Institute and one of the world's foremost peak oil educators, will speak at Cary Hall in Lexington on Thursday, April 29, at 7:30 p.m.

In his talk — “Global Warming, End of Oil, Perfect Storm” — Heinberg will discuss how the rapid depletion of fossil fuels and accelerating global climate disruption are creating unprecedented challenges for global society.

Since 2002, Heinberg has given more than 300 lectures on oil depletion to a wide variety of audiences. He is also the author of nine books.
